Thanksgiving Travel Reaches Record Highs, Weather May Complicate Plans

Thanksgiving travel is in full swing across the United States, with over 55 million people expected to journey at least 50 miles this holiday season. 

This marks one of the busiest travel periods since the pandemic, with highways and airports preparing for peak volumes.

Airlines report near capacity flights, while traffic on major interstates is expected to spike, particularly on Tuesday and Wednesday. 

However, winter storms in the Midwest and rain in the Northeast could lead to delays and cancellations. Travelers are advised to check weather updates and plan extra time for their journeys.
