Counterfeiters imitate trusted products because familiar names reduce a buyer’s caution. Learning to inspect the seller, price, listing, and package can lower the risk.

A tire impression in mud may look like a simple pattern, but investigators can read it as a record of contact between a vehicle and the ground. The track may reveal tread design, tire size, direction of travel, and signs of wear. It can help narrow a search, but it does not automatically identify a vehicle or prove who was driving.
