The Wire Around A Room
In a busy meeting room, a person with hearing loss may hear nearby voices, chair movement, and echoes along with the main speaker. A hearing loop helps by sending the speaker’s audio directly to a compatible hearing device. Also called an induction loop, the system can serve theaters, houses of worship, meeting rooms, service counters, and other public spaces. Its wires are often installed under flooring or around part of a room, making the system nearly invisible.
