The Meaning Behind The Terms: The question of whether Black people born in America should be called “African American” has been discussed for many years. Some people proudly use the term African American because it connects them to their ancestral roots in Africa and to the long history of Black people in the United States. Others prefer the term Black because it feels broader, simpler, and more connected to modern identity and culture. The truth is that there is no single answer that fits everyone. Identity is personal, and different people may choose different terms based on family history, culture, or personal comfort.

Understanding The Economic Divide: The wealth gap between white and Black Americans remains one of the most significant economic challenges in the United States. According to recent data, the typical white family has approximately eight times more wealth than the typical Black family.  This difference did not happen by accident or overnight. Instead, it developed over centuries through specific policies and practices that created advantages for some groups while blocking opportunities for others.
