Delta Airlines Partners with Shake Shack to Serve Iconic Burgers on Flights

Delta Airlines is improving its in-flight meals by teaming up with Shake Shack to offer their popular cheeseburgers on some flights.

Starting December 1, 2024, First Class passengers flying from Boston on trips over 900 miles can savor a special meal that includes Shake Shack's Angus beef cheeseburger, chips, a Caesar salad, and a delicious dark chocolate brownie for dessert.

Travelers can customize their meals through the Delta app, choosing classic toppings like lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce. Passengers can place their orders up to 24 hours before their flight to make sure their meal is ready.

Stephanie Laster, Delta’s Managing Director of Onboard Services, said this new option blends comfort food with great service. Shake Shack’s President, Michael Kark, noted that this partnership helps bring their burgers to new heights, enhancing the overall dining experience in the sky.

This addition is part of Delta's larger plan to update its food and drink offerings, which includes working with well known chefs and expanding their wine selections.

By 2025, Delta aims to offer the Shake Shack burger in more U.S. locations, making it available to even more travelers.

With this exciting collaboration, Delta is changing the way we think about comfort food on flights, adding a touch of luxury to the travel experience.
