Vitamin A And Carotene Overload:

Unlike vitamin A supplements, beta-carotene from carrots does not usually cause vitamin A poisoning. However, drinking massive amounts over long periods can still stress the body. Some people develop carotenemia, a condition that turns the skin yellow or orange. 

While carotenemia itself is not deadly, it can signal extreme intake. In rare situations, excessive juicing combined with other dietary problems can contribute to liver strain or nutrient imbalances.

Extreme Diets Increase The Risk:

Many serious cases are linked to extreme diets. Some individuals replace meals with carrot juice or follow juice-only plans for weeks or months. These diets can lack protein, fats, and key minerals. 

Over time, this imbalance may weaken the body, disrupt electrolytes, and affect heart and organ function. Carrot juice alone cannot provide complete nutrition, no matter how healthy it seems.

People with kidney disease, heart conditions, or those taking certain medications should be especially careful. Their bodies may not regulate potassium properly. 

Even healthy individuals should avoid drinking carrot juice in excessive amounts every day. Moderation is key, and whole carrots eaten as part of a balanced diet are safer than large volumes of juice.
